We hear the name of Shiatsu has been known overseas and lately there seem to be many people who have become interested in Shiatsu. Shiatsu Therapy was born and grown up in Japan and now has been exported to many foreign countries. And we wonder how they have accepted it and what they have learned about Shiatsu. We have wished to see how foreign people learn Zen Shiatsu in their countries and would like to know what they think of it and to exchange opinions and information with people who work in the therapuitic field if there is a chance. Thanks to Internet, we could have contacts with some people who concern with Shiatsu Therapy in America, which made us decide to visit America. This is a report of Masami's goodwill trip to North America in 1999. During the trip, she did workshops and demonstrations of Zen Shiatsu in each city, which was well received by the people with wonder and admiration, and you can check it with some pictures and explanations belowed. We would like to continue teaching and promoting Zen Shiatsu Therapy internationally hereafter and would like to have more opportunities to come in touch with foreign people directly through Zen Shiatsu in the future.
